What inspired this piece?.
Some things cannot be described in words. This piece was inspired by the feeling of my words leaving me during a non-verbal CPTSD episode. It was a cathartic post-therapy painting, and when I shared it online I found other folks with CPTSD related to it very strongly. I hope if that’s you, it makes you feel seen, and helps you to see that no experience is unique, and you are not alone.
